The industry safety statistics with regard to haulage activities are not acceptable. MPQC and the whole of the industry are committed to providing the necessary support to achieving the objective of zero tolerance to accidents and incidents. The role of the delivery driver is vital if this target is to be achieved.

Drivers are not only responsible for their own safety and that of their vehicle but also for others working around them. Driver behaviour and attitudes on site have a major impact on the safe working of all contracts.

This CD or video has been produced for the benefit of all drivers hauling materials to contracting operations. It explains the requirements for the safety and well-being of all, and also highlights the good practices which must be adopted.
