Who should attend?
Managers, supervisors, SHE advisors, and others with responsibility for, or significant involvement in, workplace safety. This course is useful preparation for those intending to achieve the NVQ in Health, Safety and Environmental Management in Quarries at levels 3 or 4.
Course Aims
To ensure that safety requirements are appreciated by persons employed as line managers, and as SHE advisors to line managers, and to enable them to review their own company or departmental systems for safety and to use them effectively, or to improve them by the introduction of new controls or implementing changes to improve safety in the workplace.

Number of delegates
This course is intended for a minimum of 6 and, maximum of 12 delegates. If your requirements differ from this, please discuss it with us.
Duration and delivery options
The course comprises of lectures, discussions and group exercises. Assessment is by means of written multiple-choice tests and a practical workplace project. Various delivery options are available, including a 4-day course, (excluding workplace project), a 5-day course, (inclusive of workplace project and day release options, to meet most companies’ requirements.
