Control and Measurement of Dust and Respirable Crystalline Silica

Who should attend?
Managers, supervisors, SHE advisors, and others with responsibility for, or involvement in, workplace safety. Although applicable to all sites where dust may be present, it is of particular relevance where dusts may contain respirable crystalline silica.

Course Aims
To ensure that the health, safety and welfare aspects associated with dust in general and respirable crystalline silica in particular are appreciated by persons employed as line managers, supervisors and SHE advisors to enable them to review their own company or departmental systems for the control and measurement of dust and to use them effectively.

Number of delegates
This course is intended for a minimum of 4 and, maximum of 12 delegates. It can be run in company, but public courses will also be available. If your requirements differ from this, please discuss it with us.

Duration and delivery options
This one-day course comprises of lectures, discussions and group exercises. The course concludes with an end test.
